There are twelve spacious kennels with indoor and outdoor runs. The runs are protected by heavy duty chain link (8 feet long, 4 feet wide and 5 feet high). The outdoor runs have an overhang for protection against the elements. Each run (inside and out) has a chain link top to prevent escape. Inside, our boarders sleep on raised wooden floors covered with linoleum.

Of course our boarders are allowed to have their favorite toys or bedding, supplied by their owners, in order to make them feel "at home" while away from home.

All dishes and food are provided. Medicines are given at the owner's request as per specific directions provided to us. Special diets are observed and carefully monitored.

Our kennel is air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter with music playing twenty-four hours a day. All kennel areas are equipped with a continuously monitored intercom system so we are always aware of the activites there, and our borders have the immediate security of a friendly human voice.

In addition to having access to outdoor runs, each individual dog is allowed to go outside three or four times a day to run and play in a two and a half acre fenced in area.

"Quality love time" is given to each border on a daily basis by a staff member. Depending on the dog's personal preferences, age, and physical condition, this can be anything from playing with a ball, to receiving a "belly rub," or just quiet time with soothing talk and scratching behind the ears. Unlike the policies at some boarding kennels, there is never an additional charge for this time of undivided attention at High Wycombe!

If we have a very shy arrival, we take special care to make him feel comfortable. Sometimes this means sitting down inside the run with him until he feels safe and secure in our company.



  

  

We want our boarders to feel as though they too are on vacation while you are away.
Due to insurance regulations, children under sixteen are not allowed on premises.
